Automation Enthusiasts Win Big at the Edgeverve Big Bot League 2019

RPA professionals and automation enthusiasts explored the community edition of award-winning RPA platform, AssistEdge and set new benchmarks, with their own bots.

Bengaluru – March 20, 2019: EdgeVerve Systems, recently organized The Big Bot league at its campus, which was attended by more than 500 participants comprising of automation enthusiasts, professionals, engineers and tech students from across the country.

On the event day, the registered participants were given a challenge to create their own bots with the AssistEdge Community Edition robotic process automation (RPA) software. The AssistEdge Community Edition is designed for RPA enthusiasts to self-learn automation and join the rising Artificial Intelligence (AI) revolution.

A boot camp was set up at the venue, for the audience to interact with AssistEdge Product managers, wherein they interacted with the curious participants and shared insights about AssistEdge and their industry experience.

The top 5 teams who created best bots in the fastest time were adjudged winners at the EdgeVerve’s Big Bot League. First prize in ‘Professional’ category went to TeChief team with Pranjal Paliwal, Anurag Singh, Sagar M and Rachet Mundur as members. The first prize in ‘Amateur’ category went to Bitsplease team from Christ University with Neha Sasidharan, Shraddha Gulati, Shlok Sanjay Kamat and Sidharth Mahai as members. The teams were given problem of fetching data in a specified format from websites.

A platform to share, explore and experience robotic process automation, the EdgeVerve’s Big Bot League was one of the largest Botathon in the country for the budding automation enthusiasts to create their own bots and win exciting prizes totaling 5 lakhs. It was an opportunity to interact with automation experts and network with like-minded professionals.
