My teaching and research interests are supply chain management, sales & operations planning, strategic sourcing, supply chain risk, lean operations, supply chain sustainability, health care delivery, and marketing-operations interfaces. I also have strong interests in supply chain issues arising in base-of-pyramid (BoP) and health-care delivery in the developing economies.

I have taught courses in Operations Management, Global Supply Chain Management, Strategic Sourcing, Innovations in Global Health Delivery for regular degree programs as well as for short-term executive education programs. I have also conducted custom programs for several companies in these areas.

I have worked with several companies on supply chain related projects; e.g. Chrysler, Federal Mogul, Cummins, Hallmark Greetings, Boeing, ITC Corp. (India), Cordis Corp., Dell, Intel, Pall, Steelcase, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Target, Wilson Sporting Goods, and the USG Corporation.

I have done several supply chain (e.g., farm-to-market, clean energy solutions) and health care delivery related projects in India and Africa; some of this work has been sponsored by CARE (Canada & Uganda), Acumen Fund (India), and USAID.

Suresh is the Platform Head for TradeEdge. Suresh has vast professional experience in product management, strategy, and business process consulting in the Retail-CPG industry. He has led successive technology startups to significant value by creating globally-recognized products and platforms in the areas of warehouse management, logistics, and sales execution. His emerging markets experience has been a key driver in delivering frugal innovation within the consumer goods value chain. A great motivator and mentor, Suresh is an entrepreneur and a co-founder of Manhattan Associates (NASD:MANH), a global leader in supply chain solutions.
