A leading US health insurance company had over 70+ processes that were being executed manually by their staff. These processes were completely rule driven and could be easily automated. However, the company did not have any expertise in automation and also did not have the budget to fund a large scale automation program.

  • FTEs engaged in manual non-productive mundane activities which resulted in little to no time to focus on value driven activities for the organization.

  • Created a strong operating model for automation COE and trained identified team to run the COE.
  • Recommended a Federated LOB based Operating Model with key roles of Business Sponsor, COE Lead, Steering Committee, Business Lead/RPA Champion, Technology Lead.

  • COE comprised of a COE head along with a 6-member team to run the COE. The team has automated till date over 70+ processes with an overall FTE saving of 115 people in the first 3 years.
