A global bank wanted to get on the RPA wave to focus on high savings, free up their employees’ bandwidth, reduce manual errors and bring down the overall processing time. Their CTO wanted to get it right, having read some research on how the initial implementation of RPA fails at a staggering range. He realized that the key reasons for such failures included wrong process selection, half-baked planning and the lack of an end-to-end journey roadmap.
With further research, he realized the need for creating a Robotic Process Automation Center of Excellence (RPA CoE) to supervise the RPA program within the organization. He noted that the RPA CoE should have the foremost task of selecting tasks for RPA and creating an Automation Blueprint.
