Infosys Limited, its subsidiaries, associates and affiliated companies (collectively referred to as “Infosys”, “us”, “we”) are committed to process your personal data as per the laws of your country or state, including the California Consumer Privacy Act. The purpose of this Privacy Statement (“Statement”) is to inform you of the categories of Personal Data we collect and the purposes for which we use such Personal Data.

Mandatory: First name, Last name, Email address, Company, Job Title and Food Preference

Optional: Audio & Video, Photograph and Phone Number

Please do not disclose sensitive personal information on the event platform.

Data Recipients / Accessible to: We may disclose Personal Data to the following categories of recipients for the same purposes described below and where appropriate, we require that such parties maintain its confidentiality and maintain appropriate systems and processes to ensure its security and protection:

  • Internal authorized employees of Infosys, including Infosys’ subsidiaries or affiliates, in internal functions such as Marketing, Sales
  • Infosys’ service providers and partners who manage the registration process and provide their platform(s), hosting and e-mail services to Infosys
  • Visitors, viewers, and other recipients accessing such personal data as published by us on our website(s), digital photo galleries, official social media platforms, and similar publications.

  • Infosys’ service provider named as ‘Cvent’ who is managing the registration process for this event and sharing registered data with Infosys. Lawfulness of Processing:
We process your Personal Data on the basis of legitimate interest pursued by us or a third party (when these interests are not overridden by your data protection rights) or consent based on the DP Laws of the applicable jurisdiction. This applies in the circumstances such as:

  • For inviting you to the event as described in our registration page
  • For informing you about confirmed registration
  • For disseminating your knowledge/opinions to the attendees of the aforesaid event and subsequently, to other Infosys employees
  • For capturing the event by means of photographs, videos (including video recordings) etc. to make them available for publications, promotions, press releases etc.
  • For the purpose of generating leads

Your Rights (as per applicable DP laws): For any queries related to Data Privacy or to exercise your Data Privacy Rights as per applicable DP laws you may reach out to us by sending an email to privacy@infosys.com.

Secondary Purpose
If we wish to use your personal data for a new purpose, not covered by this Statement, then we will provide you with a new Statement explaining this new use prior to commencing the processing and setting out the relevant purposes and processing conditions. Where and whenever necessary as per applicable DP laws, we will provide you prior notice and/or seek your prior consent of the new processing, unless authorized by law.

Data Transfer:

  • For EU/EEA, UK – The Personal Data listed above may be transferred to countries located outside of the EU/EEA, for which data protection legislation may differ from that of the EEA, i.e., our offices located in India and where applicable, our authorized service providers’ servers located globally. We shall take the necessary steps to ensure confidentiality and security of the transferred data. We have, in particular, implemented the following safeguards: Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 para. 2 lit. c) GDPR), the copies can be obtained by writing to privacy@infosys.com.
  • For Non-EU/EEA – If necessary for the above stated purpose, the Personal Data listed above may be transferred to Infosys office located in India and where applicable, our authorized service providers’ servers. We shall take the necessary steps to ensure confidentiality and security of the transferred data. Your personal data is transferred outside your jurisdiction based on Data Transfer Agreement/Consent/Specific Standard Contractual Clauses, etc. based on applicable DP Laws.

Data Security: Infosys adopts reasonable and appropriate security practices and procedures including administrative, physical security, and technical controls in order to safeguard your Personal Data

Data Retention: Personal Data will not be retained for a period more than necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Statement unless a longer retention period is required by law or for directly related legitimate business purposes.
