A leading hospital chain in the UK and an acute and specialist services provider catering to over half a million patients a year including over 94,000 Emergency Department attendees, wanted to adopt at Intelligent Automation. The hospital chain was looking to integrate the hospital’s application containing patient appointment/shift details and an external shift-booking application used by locums (doctors) to connect to a healthcare professional marketplace. The interface for doctors to find shifts in the hospital trust is provided by a third party software company. Hence, the project involved working with the hospital group, the third-party software provider and a large global consulting company.
