Total Robot View

Total Robot View displays the all the Robots created in the Control Tower. It provides information such as Robot Name, Success Rate, Current Schedule and Next schedule of the Robots. Additionally, you can create Robots from this interface.

 

The Robot name column shows various states of Robots such as:

For more information about the state of Robot, see Robot Status List View. If the Robot list contains a Superbot, then the particular Robot is highlighted as Superbot. For more information about super bot, see Super bot section.

 

 

Password Update for Robot User Ids

Using this capability, you can update the password for one or more Robot user IDs. The password change is only applicable to the Robots owned by the logged-in user.

 

To update the Robot user ids:

  1. Click  the(Update Auth Credentials for Robots) icon.



    The Update Auth Credentials for Robots page is displayed.


    Vault details can also be updated for the Robots created using credentials from vault. For more information about Vault details, see Starting with Credential Manager section in Credential Manager.
  2. In the Password field,  specify the passwords corresponding to the Robot user IDs which are required to be updated.
  3. Click UPDATE to update the password corresponding to specific Robot user ID. You can update the password for the Robot user IDs. For more information about Robot password update, see Password Update for Robot User IDs.

   

Additional Information about Robot View

In each view of Robot View, you can also perform following actions:

 

 

  • Using the Search option, you can search for the available, setup, stopped and so on Robots in the particular view. For more information about Search, see Search_Robots
  • You can set the filter to  view the Robot transactions list as per the requirements. For more information about setting the filters, see Setting Filters
  • In the Sort by list, select the preferred option . Additionally, you can sort the available  list as per the available sorting criteria. For more information about sorting criteria for each view, see Sort By
  • (Ascending) or (Descending)  order: Click  the  or icon to arrange the Robot view in ascending or descending order.
  • Click the Grid View, to view the Robot list in grid view.

   

Sort By

Sort By enables you to filter the Robot/ transactions list as per the requirements. This capability is present in following page:

 

To sort the Robot transactions list:

  1. In the Sort by list, select the preferred option. Additionally, you can sort the available list as per the available sorting criteria
  2. Click  the  or icon to arrange the Robot view in ascending or descending order.

Enables you to sort the Robots list based on the name of Robots.

Machine

Enables you to sort the Robots based on the machine on which they are deployed.

Running Robot View - Sort by

Robot Name

Enables you to sort the running Robots list based on the name of Robots.

Robot Start Name

Enables you to sort the running Robots list based on the Robot start name.

Next Run

Enables you to sort the running Robots list based on the next automation request scheduled.

Machine

Enables you to sort the running Robots list based on the machine on which they are deployed.

Success Rate

Enables you to sort the running Robots list based on success rate of the Robot activity.

Error Robot View - Sort by

Robot Name

Enables you to sort the error Robots list based on the name of Robots.

Machine

Enables you to sort the error Robots list based on the machine on which they are deployed.

Success Rate

Enables you to sort the error Robots list based on success rate of the Robot activity.

Error Reason

Enables you to sort the error Robots list based on the error occurred such as authentication failure, sign in failure, startup error and so on.

Stopped Robot View - Sort by

Robot Name

Enables you to sort the stopped Robots list based on the name of stopped Robots.

Machine

Enables you to sort the stopped Robots list based on the machine on which they are deployed.

Success Rate

Enables you to sort the success Robots list based on success rate of the Robot activity.

Stopped At

Enables you to sort the list of Robots according to date and time when the Robot was stopped.

Available Robot View - Sort by

Robot Name

Enables you to sort the available Robots list based on the name of available Robots.

Created By

Enables you to sort the available Robot list based on the owner of the Robot.

Machine

Enables you to sort the available Robots list based on the machine on which they are deployed.

Created At

Enables you to sort the available Robots list based on the time and date at which the Robot was created.

Setup Robot View - Sort by

Robot Name

Enables you to sort the setup Robots list based on the name of setup Robots.

Machine

Enables you to sort the setup Robots list based on the machine on which they are deployed.

Assigned To

Enables you to sort the Robots in setup view according to assignee of the Robot.

Robot Status

Enables you to sort the setup Robots as per its status.


Setting Filters

Setting Filters enables you to filter the Robot/ transactions list as per the requirements. This capability is present in following page:

 

To set the filters:

  1. Click the (Filter) icon.

 



The SET FILTERS page is displayed.

 

The filter options will differ according to selected Robot status view.

  1. In the left panel, select the preferred filter parameter.
  2. In the right panel, select the status check box as per your preference. These values appears as per the parameter selected in the left panel.
  3. Then, click APPLY to view the Robot or transactions list as per the selected criteria.
    The result is displayed on the page as per the selected parameter.
    OR
    Click RESTORE DEFAULTS to reset the Robot filter parameter to default.

Total Robot View - Filter

Robot Status

Enables you to filter the Robots using Robot status. Following are the options in Robot status using which you can filter:
Select All: When Select All check box, all the Robot in the Control Tower is displayed.
Running: When Running check box is selected, only the Robot in running state is displayed in the total Robot list view.
Stopped: When Stopped check box is selected, only the Robot in stopped state is displayed in the total Robot list view.
Error: When Error check box is selected, only the Robot in error state is displayed in the total Robot list view.
Setup: When Setup check box is selected, only the Robot in setup state is displayed in the total Robot list view.

Available: When Available check box is selected, only the Robot in available state is displayed in the total Robot list view.  

Machine Name

Enables you to filter the Robots using machine name. As per the logged in user access, the Robot agents list is displayed. In the left panel, select Machine Name > select the preferred <robot_agent> check box to view Robot status according to Robot agent selected.

Profile

Enables you to filter the Robots list based on profile. In the left panel, select Profile >select the preferred profile check box to view the Robot list accordingly.

Schedule

Enables you to filter the Robots list based on schedule. In the left panel, select Schedule >select the preferred schedule check box to view the Robot list accordingly.

Success Rate

Enables you to filter the Robots list based on success rate of the Robot activity. In the left panel, select Success rate > drag the pointer to desired percentage to view the Robot list accordingly.

Running Robot View - Filter

Machine Name

Enables you to filter the Robots using machine name. As per the logged in user access, the Robot agents list is displayed. In the left panel, select Machine Name > select the preferred <robot_agent> check box to view Robot status according to Robot agent selected.

Profile

Enables you to filter the Robots list based on profile. In the left panel, select Profile >select the preferred profile check box to view the Robot list accordingly.

Schedule

Enables you to filter the Robots list based on schedule. In the left panel, select Schedule >select the preferred schedule check box to view the Robot list accordingly.

Success Rate

Enables you to filter the Robots list based on success rate of the Robot activity. In the left panel, select Success rate > drag the pointer to desired percentage to view the Robot list accordingly.

Error Robot View - Filter

Enables you to filter the Robots using machine name. As per the logged in user access, the Robot agents list is displayed. In the left panel, select Machine Name > select the preferred <robot_agent> check box to view Robot status according to Robot agent selected.

Enables you to filter the Robots list based on profile. In the left panel, select Profile >select the preferred profile check box to view the Robot list accordingly.

Schedule

Enables you to filter the Robots list based on schedule. In the left panel, select Schedule >select the preferred schedule check box to view the Robot list accordingly.

Success Rate

Enables you to filter the Robots list based on success rate of the Robot activity. In the left panel, select Success rate > drag the pointer to desired percentage to view the Robot list accordingly.

  Error Reason Enables you to filter the Robots using error reason. Following are the options in error reason using which you can filter:
Select All: When Select All check box, all the check boxes in the error reason are selected.
Authentication failure: If Authentication failure is selected, only the Robot which failed during the authentication failure is displayed.
Automation failure: If Automation failure is selected, only the Robot which failed while the automation process is displayed. 
Robot Unresponsive: If Robot Unresponsive is selected, only the Robot which were unresponsive while executing the process is displayed.
Signin Failure: If Signin Failure is selected, only the Robot which are failed during the signin process is displayed.
Startup Error: If Startup Error is selected, only the Robot which failed or in error state during the starting process is displayed.

Stopped Robot View - Filter

Machine Name

Enables you to filter the Robots using machine name. As per the logged in user access, the Robot agents list is displayed. In the left panel,  select Machine Name > select the preferred <robot_agent> check box to view Robot status according to Robot agent selected.

Profile

Enables you to filter the Robots list based on profile. In the left panel, select Profile > select the preferred profile check box to view the Robot list accordingly.

Schedule

Enables you to filter the Robots list based on schedule. In the left panel, select Schedule >select the preferred schedule check box to view the Robot list accordingly.

Success Rate

Enables you to filter the Robots list based on success rate of the Robot activity. In the left panel, select Success rate > drag the pointer to desired percentage to view the Robot list accordingly.

Available Robot View - Filter

Machine Name

Enables you to filter the Robots using machine name. As per the logged in user access, the Robot agents list is displayed. In the left panel, select Machine Name > select the preferred <robot_agent> check box to view Robot status according to selected Robot agent.

Created By

Enables you to filter the Robots based on the owner of Robot. In the left panel, select Created by > select the owner name check box to view Robot status according to selected owner.

Setup Robot View - Filter

Machine Name

Enables you to filter the Robots using machine name. As per the logged in user access, the Robot agents list is displayed. In the left panel, , select Machine Name > select the preferred <robot_agent> check box to view Robot status according to selected Robot agent.

Robot Status

Enables you to filter the Robots using Robot status. Following are the options in Robot status using which you can filter:

Select All: When Select All check box, all the Robot in the Control Tower is displayed.

Assigned: If Assigned check box is selected, only the Robots assigned to any particular user is displayed.

Authenticated: Displays only the Robots which are authenticated to any particular user is displayed.

Profiles Assigned:If Profiles Assigned check box is selected, only the Robots which are assigned to any particular profile is displayed.

Assignee

Enables you to filter the Robots details using assignees. In the left panel, select Assignee > select the check box against the desired assignee to view the Robot status.
