About Administrator Module

This section is intended for a system administrator managing RPA. This document only describes the administrative tasks required to manage the operation of RPA on your system.  To learn how to get started using the software, or how to install the software, refer to the appropriate documents:

NOTE:

  • During process configuration and reporting of profiling data, customers should inform users before doing individual analysis and profiling.
  • During process configuration there should not be any personally identifiable information (PII) data components in the data or content in the e-mail, messages, or system comments.

The Admin User

While installing RPA, a default user with admin role is created and referred as System Administrator (Super_Admin). The Super_Admin role has the highest permissions of all the admins. Users with Super_Admin role can create other admins, assign or remove permissions, and perform all other admin activities. They control the provisioning and de-provisioning of end users.

NOTE:

Users with Super_Admin  role should not deactivate their own account; however, they can deactivate other Super_Admin  users.

In order to start working with the RPA system, Super_Admin  is required to set a work environment for business users.

Here’s the recommended steps to prepare the work environment for users to start working with AE Product:

  1. Prerequisites to start with Admin Module
  2. License Manager
  3. Overview of Admin Module
  4. Configuration
  5. User Management
  6. Other settings (Optional)
