Gerhard van Wyk

Senior Principal Technology Architect, Infosys Finacle

Gerhard has been a banker for two decades and is currently the Senior Principal Technology Architect with the Business Consulting Group at Infosys Finacle. He is based out of Johannesburg, South Africa and specializes in consulting on digital technology transformations for banks, helping banks unlock value in technology investments and combining capabilities across domains. Gerhard was a founding member of a successful fintech start-up within a Tier 1 Bank, building a complete technology and financial model for a cross border mobile financial services business.

Akinsope Roberts

Digital Solutions, EY - West Africa

As the keynote speaker, Akinsope would be sharing his views on how banks in Ghana should be defining and executing their digital journeys. In his role at EY, Akinsope supports banking leaders chalk out the right digital banking strategies for their institutions. He has led multiple digital transformation programs involving digital architecture blueprinting, innovation and digital solutions implementation. He will be presenting an interesting point of view on how banks can be a disruptor and the disrupted, at the same time.
