Process for entering contest:

To participate in the challenge, follow the steps below

  1. Download AssistEdge Community Edition. Click here
  2. To download AssistEdge Community edition you will need to enter following details:
    1. User id: Provide User ID by typing whoami command in CMD prompt in your laptop/computer
    2. Machine id: Provide Machine ID typing getmac command in CMD prompt
  3. Create a bot of your choice using AssistEdge Community Edition
  4. Zip the bot file with the same name as your email id (which was used to download the community edition).
  5. Send the zipped file from the same email id which is used to download the community edition along with your CV

Process for creating bot and submitting it:

  1. Identify a problem of your choice which can be automated
    1. Define optimum scheduling needed for this problem/automation
  2. Create the Automation using AssistEdge Community Edition
    1. Publish and deploy the process
    2. Schedule the above process on EVA bot as per your defined scheduling needs in Step #1a
    3. Create automated screenshots for multiple intermediate steps (at least 2-3) as per the chosen problem
      1. Each of the screenshots should be saved as D:/AssistEdgeAutomation/<><>.png
  3. Manual Step: Take a screenshot of the Configured Process and name it D:/AssistEdgeAutomation/
    1. This screenshot should be taken in a way that it shows the computer date/time
  4. Manual Step: Take a screenshot of the configuration done on EVA Bot and save the screenshot as D:/AssistEdgeAutomation/
  5. Execute the Process as per EVA Bot schedule.
  6. Export the Process into a zip file.
  7. Process should be in “Deployed” state to be able to Export a process
  8. Steps to Export:
    1. Go to Automation Studio -> ADMIN -> Migration -> Export tab
    2. Click on “Create New” button
    3. For the process to be exported, select the “Add To Package” check box
    4. Click on the “EXPORT” button
    5. On the ‘Summary’ window provide the “Package Name” and “Remarks”
    6. Click on ‘EXPORT’ button
    7. Click on the “Open” link on Information window which will open a folder
    8. The file present in the same is the Process zip file to be uploaded.
  9. Manually create a new zip with the process zip, and all the screenshots captured as detailed above and any other supporting files along with your CV
  10. Send the zip file to the gmail id mentioned in the mail

Terms and Conditions:

Terms and conditions for **The Bog Bot League 4 ** (“hereinafter referred to as the “Contest”), run and managed by EdgeVerve Systems Limited (hereinafter referred to as “Edgeverve”)

  1. Duration: The Contest will run from 16th October 2019, 2019 to 31st December, 2019.
  2. EdgeVerve shall organize the Contest at Interested participants will be required to create a software bot using EdgeVerve’s product AssistEdge Community Edition.
  3. Participants are encouraged to come up with original ideas and submit the same at
  4. Any person entering the Contest shall be deemed to have done so voluntarily and accepted all the Terms and Conditions governing the Contest.
  5. Edgeverve shall evaluate each bot submitted by a participant and choose the winning entries. All decisions made by Edgeverve will be at its sole discretion and final in this regard.
  6. The prizes shall be awarded on the basis of the category in which they fall in.
  7. The winner will be required to provide relevant IDs and evidence to prove that she/he is the rightful winner. The winner will fully coordinate with Infosys in providing her/his identification proof.
  8. The vouchers shall be given electronically or physically within 90 days of the end of Contest. The winner by accepting the voucher so awarded consent that EdgeVerve may share his/her email id to a third party merchant to send the said vouchers electronically.
  9. This Contest is wholly and solely run by EdgeVerve and there is no partnership between or any third party merchant and association is merely incidental to where the Contest is hosted.
  10. The voucher is non-transferable and time bound. Please read the email to carefully to download your e-voucher.
  11. EdgeVerve shall not be responsible or liable in any manner whatsoever for any deficiency or inadequacy in the services rendered by the merchants with respect to the Vouchers and the Participant hereby agrees not to hold EdgeVerve responsible or liable for, any actions, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, charges and expenses that he/she may suffer on account of this Contest. Without prejudice to the foregoing, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, EdgeVerve shall not be liable to any person for any loss, damage, expenses or claim (whether direct or indirect) in relation to any personal injury, death, false representation, damage or omission arising from or in connection with the usage or attempted usage of the voucher awarded or goods and/or services provided under the voucher. EdgeVerve specifically disclaims and shall not be responsible for any lost profits, data or business, or for any indirect, special, incidental, exemplary or consequential damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with this Contest.
  12. All disputes arising out of or in connection with this Contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, India, irrespective of whether any other courts / tribunals have any concurrent or similar jurisdiction.
  13. The decision of EdgeVerve in all matters in connection with and incidental to the Contest shall be final and binding on all persons.
  14. EdgeVerve reserves the right, at any time, without previous notice to add, alter, modify, change or vary all or any of these terms and conditions, or to replace, wholly or in part, the Contests by other offers, or to extend or withdraw them altogether without assigning any reason whatsoever.
  15. The decision of EdgeVerve in all matters in connection with and incidental to the Contest shall be final and binding on all persons.
