Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) and Infosys Finacle, has won the prestigious ‘Best Core Banking Initiative Application or Programme for Emerging Bank in Middle East’ for 2018 at the Asian Banker Financial Technology Innovation Awards. With Infosys Finacle, ABK has been able to achieve greater operational efficiencies and accelerated business growth to its customers.
The award was presented at a special ceremony held in Dubai, during the Future of Finance – Middle East and Africa 2018 conference. The award was received by senior ABK executives led by Salem Husain, CTO and Sridhar Kasisomayajula, CIO of ABK, together with Sriranga Sampathkumar, Head of Business – Middle East and Africa, of Infosys Finacle.
The annual awards ceremony celebrates the region’s best banking products and services and is widely respected by the banking industry.
