Update Configuration File

Once Elastic data is successfully upgraded, further configurations of AE RPA/Engage needs to be done:

 

Update BeyondTrust configuration (Optional- for BeyondTrust Credential Vault Connection)

Perform the below configuration to use the BeyondTrust credential vault., else, skip this section.

1. Navigate to <InstallationDirectory>\AssistEdgeAutomation\app\Admin\config\config.yml.
2. Update the following parameters of the beyondTrustVault section: 
   • url- provide the beyondTrust URL
   • apikey- provide the key for accessing beyondTrust
   • runas- provide the username for beyondTrust

The required configuration is updated.

 

Update log4j2.properties files (Optional- applicable only if customization is done)

Apply the changes done to the log4j2.properties files if any customization or modification was done to the specified files of the existing RPA 20.x/Engage 3.x build. The files are available at:

• <InstallationDirectory>\AssistEdgeAutomation\runtime\elasticsearch\opendistroforelasticsearch-1.13.2\config\log4j2.properties
• <InstallationDirectory>\AssistEdgeAutomation\runtime\logstash\logstash-7.10.2\config\log4j2.properties

NOTE:

You must start all the components once the server-side upgrade is completed.
