Extract AssistEdgeAutomation package

As part of server-side installation, validate the prerequisites and then, extract the AssistEdgeAutomation package.

 

This section explains the extraction of AssistEdge Automation package. 

 

For Windows

For Linux
  1. Navigate to the AE-RPA_19.1-Engage_2.1_Install > Windows product package on local drive of your system.
  2. Find AssistEdgeAutomation.zip folder and extract the AssistEdgeAutomation

     

    Caution: 

    		 7-zip (or similar archiver) is used to perform extraction of installation folder as default decompression of Windows fails to properly unzip the files. Incorrect extraction leads to the failure of installation
Run the tar -xvf AssistEdgeAutomation.tar.gz command from the directory where you want to extract the files.

 


After successful extraction of AssistEdgeAutomation file, start with Server-side installation. For more information,see AE-RPA-Engage-Installation Guide.
