New features and enhancements in the Engage release include:
Value Stream Application Association
Home Page Value Stream provides a consolidated view of all activities performed in Engage to deliver value. These value streams are linked to Engage applications. For developers, the value streams are associated with applications and displays the total number of unpublished applications, a list of applications, and quick links to create applications during build-time. For business operations, the value streams are associated with applications on runtime and displays the total number of published applications, a consolidated list of all published and unpublished applications in Engage, and quick links to access Engage.
EdgeVerve AI Next UI Theme Plugin
The Engage features a theme plugin that enables designers to easily apply the EdgeVerve AI Next theme to new or existing LCNC Apps. With this plugin, designers can effortlessly align their Engage-created Apps with the EdgeVerve AI Next branding and visual design. During UI configuration, designers can select this theme for their app and apply EdgeVerve AI Next visual design styles through a simple drag and drop process.
AI Enabled Copilot for Admin
The admin module offers a copilot or assistant feature that promptly and efficiently handles inquiries related to feature usage, troubleshooting, and customization specific to the user’s organization. This feature is powered by the proprietary AI platform, Neural Connect.
AI Enabled Copilot for Automation Developers
Automation Studio offers a copilot or assistant feature that promptly and efficiently handles inquiries related to process optimization, deployment, testing, and activities usage within the automation development context. This feature is powered by the proprietary AI platform, Neural Connect.
Studio UI Configurations Enhancement
This feature allows users to update the automation Studio basic configurations from UI instead of going to configuration file. Configurations search along with the elaborative description helps the user with configuration update process and also simplifies the process.

Custom Patch Creation
This feature allows the Digital Worker users to create custom patch based on the specific requirement and push them to the applicable client tools using Update Management Framework. This feature is used for updating the latest web drivers in the client tools.

Iframe support for API Whitelisting
The Iframe Whitelisting feature improves the security and control by enabling specific domains to embed content into our application using Iframes. Unauthorized or malicious content can be prevented by selectively permitting trusted sources.
Kubernetes (K8S) Based Deployment
Engage capability has transitioned from a traditional Virtual Machine (VM)-based deployment model to a Kubernetes (K8S)-based deployment. This change introduces several benefits that enhances the performance, scalability, and operational efficiency. It also brings consistency at PolarisEdge platform level of deployment.
FOSS and Third-Party Components
Engage uses certain free open-source software which is the property of their respective owners and is licensed with their licenses. For usage of any third-party software, users need to procure the licenses for the software applications if they want to use, automate and abide by their terms of use. Performance and Security Recommendations
Performance and Endurance Recommendations
See Hardware Sizing while provisioning the infrastructure for deployments. This section has recommendations for different supported scenarios for Automation deployment.
Security Recommendations
Ensure that the Secure Deployment Recommendations are adhered to while deploying the product. This ensures that the most relevant best practices for setting up the product are taken care of during installation and setup.
Known Issues and Limitations
Feature usage and limitations or boundary conditions are available as part of Product Usage/Installation/other product documents. Below is the list of known open issues and limitations at the time of the Engage release.
- Setting up a clustered Low code installation with multiple nodes might trigger session persistence issues.
- It is possible to create and deploy Multiple Sign-in and Reset processes of the same application if one is done first in Studio and then through Process Recorder. It is recommended to use either of the options for Sign-in and Reset automation and then edit the same in Studio as required.
- Session expiry is only available at the individual module level while Single logout is working fine across Admin, Control Tower, and OpenSearch modules.
